Email Accounts

Anyone in the Department can apply for an email account. Our server is accessible to SSL-equipped email clients (e.g., Eudora). Email addresses will be either first.last@ualberta.ca or first.last@chem.ualberta.ca, depending on payroll status. The use of these accounts is subject to the Conditions of Use published by CNS.

Please submit your request to our Help Desk. The Help Desk automatically alerts the correct individuals of the request. If you cannot reach the Help Desk (computer completely inoperative, network down), call the primary contact for this service. The Help Desk is designed to help you and us track requests, provide a forum for Frequently Asked Questions, and help us keep you apprised of our progress on your requests.
